Tulsa and East Islip Communities Mourn Sudden Death of Kayla Beckley and Her Unborn Child
The communities of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and East Islip are mourning the sudden and heartbreaking death of 30-year-old Kayla Beckley and her unborn child, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday.
According to information shared by her family, Kayla suffered a medical emergency while exercising early Wednesday. She reportedly experienced a massive heart attack during the workout session. Her family said she was heavily pregnant at the time of her death.

Kayla’s unexpected passing has left her family, friends and members of the communities she touched grieving the loss of a beloved daughter, wife and mother-to-be.

During his weekly press conference Monday afternoon, Tulsa football head coach Tre Lamb opened by taking a moment to remember Kayla and acknowledge the sudden loss suffered by the Beckley family.
The Tulsa football program plans to honor Kayla’s memory with a helmet sticker.
Beyond her connection to football, Kayla had built a career in sports. She worked as an assistant head coach with Troy University’s women’s soccer program and had also worked with National Scouting Recruits.
